A little about me:
I love to read! I am currently carrying around more than a hundred books in my handbag. I love my Kindle and appreciate having the opportunity to read anywhere, anytime, and from a variety of books at the touch of a button. I also enjoy reading the comics every day. I subscribe to the on-line comic site Daily Ink, where I get an email each day with my favorite comics. I also read the comics on-line.
My family is rather large by today's standards. In my family I have four brothers. My husband has two sisters and 6 brothers. Together my husband and I have five children. One is finished with college, another is in college and then I have three (3) sixteen-year-olds. The last three children became Knutzens by adoption and were all born in Ethiopia. The most common question asked is if they are triplets and the answer is no. They were all born at different times of the year and we adopted them at different ages.
I enjoy cooking, especially Ethiopian food! I like to grow food in my garden, even though the deer seem to eat as much of it as we do. Facebook allows me to stay connected to my family, who live all over the United States. Our family like to travel, with my favorite destination being Hawaii. My favorite job is teaching, but I have also been a day care provider, a farm worker (pulling weeds, picking strawberries and cucumbers, etc.), a waitress, a sales clerk, a data entry operator, a secretary, a retirement analyst, a math tutor, and a computer programmer.
